Dominique Ropion's 2010 masterpiece opens with rose dusted in clove and cinnamon and brightened by raspberry and black currant, then sinks into a dense heart of Turkish rose, patchouli and incense. The drydown is smoky, resinous and long, with sandalwood, benzoin and amber lasting well into the next day. Dramatic, opulent and unmistakable, it is a signature-scent contender for cold weather.
